VMA's best dressed (according to me)

I wasn't overly impressed by the fashion at the 2014 VMA's but these 4 outfits really stood out to me. I am literally in love with everything about these outfits and so jealous of the beautiful women wearing them. 

SARAH HYLAND // KAUFMANFRANCO

How chic and simple is this ensemble? This one-shouldered blue Kaufmanfranco gown is ever so classy. The simple gold cuffs and strappy sandals accessorise the dress perfectly and the berry lips and dead straight hair makes Sarah Hyland look every inch a star. 

KIM KARDASHIAN WEST // BALMAIN

 Kim looks so amazing here. This Balmain dress is exquisite! Her bronzed glowing skin, tousled dark hair and minimal jewellery really keeps the attention on the dress. I love the low cut neckline, the shape of the dress, the pattern, the colours and the way it flatters Kim’s body. The high cut black shoes also go perfectly with the style of the dress.

SOLANGE KNOWLES // H&M STUDIO COLLECTION

 In my eyes Solange Knowles is a true trend-setting style queen. Being the sister of Beyonce means that people often overlook her commitment to style but who else could pull of a H&M oversized suit on the red carpet? The minimal strappy sandals keep the outfit modest and the big bouncy hair is faultless. Solange Knowles knows how to do laid-back chic.

JOAN SMALLS // BALMAIN

This is another Balmain winner for me. Just like the dress Kim wore (although Joan has a much higher neckline she makes up for it by showing off her uber long legs) the top of the dress has a cape effect whilst the bottom is a simple bodycon skirt. However, there is nothing simple about this dress! Just look at the detail and pattern and the carefully chosen colour scheme. Balmain dresses may be expensive but they sure do look good. Joan keeps her hair and make-up quite simple like Kim which once again keeps all the attention on the dress. Joan is so stunning; no wonder she’s one of the most sought after models in the world right now.
